Please note that the property was built in 1923, and it has not been possible to renovate the property to accommodate people with accessibility issues without losing the original character of the house.
Regrettably, therefore, the house is not suitable for the infirm or disabled.
Additionally, we do not allow pets in the house. Smoking is permitted in the courtyard, but not in the house itself.

With its much larger sister, the chateau of La Rochefoucauld, Our Chateau sits above the lovely Charente river which flows through the edge of town. Lots of restaurants to enjoy views of the Chateau or the river.
